After obtaining a commerce degree from the University of Bombay, Arun Shah starts his career as a first-generation entrepreneur — marketing calendars for Sivakasi-based printers. By the mid-sixties, Mumbai's corporates call him the "Calendar Man."
Sensing an opportunity with over a decade of experience, Mr. Arun Shah invests in printing machinery at Sion, Mumbai — establishing Arun Art Printers Pvt. Ltd. and taking full control of the production process.
Arun Art installs and perfects a dedicated facility for printing children's books — with German machines and trained manpower. The company begins exporting to publishers in the US and Europe.
With over 15 million books and 2 million calendars produced annually, Arun Art serves publishers, corporates, and institutions across India, the US, and Europe.
